  BORDERLESS WORLD: Basera-e-Tabassum: -KHuSHBOO-
The concept of Borderless World originated in1997 when the founders started work at the grass root level in the disturbed and sensitive state of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K).Their first hand experiences of the 'Human Tragedy' known as the state of J & K made them realize that the people of a nation often do not realize that their border areas function as the 'shock absorbers' of the country. Loss of lives, violence, fear and chaos are the order of the day. Socio- economic stagnancy, corruption and civil administrative breakdown affect all walks of life. Scores of thousands of children have been orphaned due to violence; a million of them have dropped out of their childhood.

The Objective aims of BWF is to work towards alleviating the poor and the needy, the abandoned and the deprived, the suffering and the victimized people of the border areas of India and beyond towards their physical, psychological, educational, economical, social and political well being by implementing rehabilitation and developmental projects. These orphans are bearing the burnt for no fault of theirs! It is for us to ensure that they will live a life with love and compassion and dignity. Let us stop for a minute and think over the saying which goes-"Healing young children's wounds allows them to survive a war or a conflict. Healing their sprits may prevent the next war or a conflict." Borderless World Foundation is working in Kashmir since 1997 and running three orphanage homes Basera-E-Tabassum (BET- Abode of Smiles) for girl children in District Kupwara, Anantnag and Budgam of Jammu & Kashmir State where 100% population is Muslim and being a Hindu it was always difficult to work in militancy affected areas where there is no surety of life. (The Budgam & Anantnag center has yet to take the required shape & the Kupwara center is going to add more children.) We live in a new age- an age of energy. Humanity is ready to embrace a new and broader understanding. Self realization will someday become the religion of the world. And a new understanding of these children would in time become the basis of all religions: a recognition that the purpose of religion is the realization of the one true Self of all beings, within.

BWF's Project

Project - Basera-e-Tabassum (BeT-meaning Abode of Smiles),

BeT is an abode which belongs to the children without parents whom the society calls as 'orphans'. These children have lost their parents as victims of militancy and due to illness and accidental deaths and in Earthquakes.

A rights and needs based, comprehensive rehabilitation project was launched in Village Dailgam in the district Anantnag. It was the third home (exclusively for girls) in the Kashmir valley. Tattvam' Asi Adoption has already approved and adopted Anantnag Home and a second project -KHUSHBOO- which will starts from July-August,08 in the Baramullha District. Tattvam'Asi adoption is to provide all actual cost of food, clothing, livings requirement and educational supplies and the portion of administration expenses will be also considered.

Adik Kadam, Gaurav Kaul, Rtn. Mohan Audi are the three young souls with their spiritual living dedicating time and life for this project in India.

  ASHRAMSHALA
Partnership with Government as Government has designed a structure of Ashram Shala to achieve the goals to provide education and nutrient food to the children in rural/tribal area.

In remote rural area where uneducated youth diverted towards wrong path because of lack of understanding, hunger and education; Government is keen to look in this issues.

In this fast changing world and modernization of urban area it is required to keep rural area required attention for development and education. And so government started Residential School known as "Ashram Shala". Where rural/tribal children stay, get nutrient food (300 Cal) and get educate for bright career. We are in process of finalizing with official of Govt. about adoption of Ashram Shala.

Tattvam'asi's project includes adopting such Ashram Shala from government and using the same infrastructure Tattvam'asi adopts it to contribute in Food, cloth and educational supply. The best system of administration is designed so that fund reaches straight to end user instead of several channels.
